There's at least one American out here who agrees with you. Such a sad state of affairs. And the worst thing about it is that people can't see it. Doesn't anybody look beyond the nice news stories the Republican-owned press keeps putting out? For instance, http://www.democracynow.org (an independent media outlet) has a daily M-F show that goes beneath the surface on what's happening in the US and in other parts of the world. We're conditioned to believe our beloved country can do no wrong... but it's time to grow up and open our eyes.

Some one must have really black balled you to make you change to democrats.Everyone knows they are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to politics look how fast they covered up the Kennedy drunk .. Everyone knows he was high as a Georgia pine when he was cough.. How about their leader Howard Dean give me a brake this guy should have his own comic strip.. what a joke.. You could have at lease became an independent..

Never was a Republican, but I can speak for three friends who have felt forced out of the Republican fold because of Bush and do-nothing Congress. It also had to do with our horrible Governor here (Indiana).
