Open iTunes and LimeWire, so that the iTunes Library is behind LimeWire, but still visible.
Then highlight the songs from your LimeWire library. Now just click and drag from your LimeWire window to the iTunes window. You'll see the symbol near your cursor change from a circle and diagonal line (as in "no access") to a plus sign. Let go of the mouse button and iTunes will copy the songs.
It sounds much harder in writing than it really is. I've done it a million times, and it's pretty simple.

Peace.

Go to Limewire. Click on Library. Then click on Explore. Now a folder wil come up with everything that you have downloaded from Limewire. Right click on the song that you want in iTunes. Go down to Open With and then click iTunes. iTunes will then open up and your song will be in the library.

Limewire saves them (I believe) in C:\\documents and settings\username (this is you)\shared. If it's not, go into Limewire's options/preferences and see where they're being saved (you should be able to change the path). Once you find them, you can import them into itunes very easily.

as quickly as you're on iTunes try this: document > upload document To Library then you definately could desire to be certain the place your Limewire songs get carry of to on your laptop, when I had Limewire, my songs have been stored in music > Limewire Downloads as quickly as you stumble on your songs, basically double-click those you desire on your library and that they could desire to look. wish i've got helped :)

Here's the Limewire User guide pages:
http://www.limewire.com/english/content/ug49/ug_options.shtml

It provides an option where you have Limewire automatically send your files to iTunes so they will automatically upload to the iPod when you plug it in.
