Okay... Guys @ my school do these retarded ratings of girls practically every year. They do like who's the hottest girl in the grade. who's got the nicest body, and stuff like that. Do guys know that if they do that and the rest of the girls are not the ones that are picked that it makes some of the girls feel bad?

First of all, I'm sure girls do the same thing; maybe they don't write it down or vote on it, but they do have opinions on who is "hot" or whatever.
Yah, it's ******* stupid and mean that they posted a list and about 95% of you were left off of it. But isn't it the same throughout society? Look at the media. Don't we more or less agree that the same few celebrities are "good-looking"? But who is setting the standard?
Why don't you focus more on being an individual and care less about what other people think. Their shallow behavior shouldn't make you feel bad.

Why does it matter honey chile? Do you need these guys to identify you. Would you actually consider guys with minds like that. Nope talk to your mom or older sister and get some perspective on what real guys mean. These losers are egotist with low self esteem who identify their manhood by being able to rate women who should never want to date but will because they are insecure and looking for attention and adoration. You sound like a pretty intelligent girl and I am sure you are very pretty. Know that and focus on your school work and graduating. When you are done find yourself a guy to appreciate you for being you and not a number identified by superficial gauge.

God damn! i hate it when girls act like "the boys are dirty and inconsiderate" , i mean, your a girl and you know girls check guys.....and when i mean check i mean Check like theres no tomorrow.....in my school girls actually sent valentine cards to everybody including the non stud ones.....and each card has a rating.....mine read 8.0....not bad ehh....but theres this dude, real nice person and all who got a 1.0 for being cross eyed!!!...now i think thats plain rude....so its not just the guy there are some girls too...but what you gotta remember is its not gonna matter....because the 'nerdy' girls and ugly girls have stronger minds and are gona end up successful when it really matters...

I'd contact the ACLU or women's Lib movement and file a sexual harrassment complaint against the school. Even if they did it equally with guys, it's still wrong.
It might be right to ask who is the smartest kid in school, but to vote for body type or looks, that's definately sexual harrassment and it's illegal in most Western nations.

i'm sure that they no, they just don't care because of the power trip it gives them as they choose who they think is the best. however, i think it would be funny to turn this around and rate them...i'm sure in the eyes of most girls, these guys would not make their lists, unless of course they were for stupidity.
