Simon's father-in-law, Deb's father, Simon's general cook/valet/everything else. At one point he was no doubt a son to his parents; I don't recall any mention of him having brothers or sisters.

I can't believe she killed off a certain main character in the last book!!!!!! (I won't spoil it for anyone)
