You know the answer to this question so why ask it?
An affair is not an option while you are married , the option is to leave your partner then do your own thing , if you have any kids leave them also, don't worry about them or your partner, just do your own thing, and if it doesn't work out just have your fling and see if your partner and kids will have you back, maybe they will??
This will give you plenty of time to look around and find some one else to 'fall in love with'
If you can live with that get on with it!!

If you really love someone, you have to think of how your actions affect them. Also, think of how much you would be hurt if they slept with someone else. If you truly love this person, you will not want to hurt them. If you're not willing to leave them for the other person, then it is not worth having an affair.
Don't do this and then feel like a coward later. If you can't be monogamous, leave the relationship.

"After awhile you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand & chaining a soul & you learn that love doesn't mean possession & company doesn't mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts & presents aren't promises & you begin to accept your defeats with your head up & your eyes ahead with the grace of an adult not the grief of a child. And you learn to build your roads today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans & futures have ways of falling down in mid-flight. After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden & decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure that you really are strong & you really do have worth & you learn & you learn..."

Oh and by the way, use some self control. If you know it's not good, run.. run like the wind.. Only you can make yourself happy!

Affairs are always an option. You must be willing to accept whatever happens as a result. The biggets problem with affairs is that they RARELY just end. They usually end up being discovered. Why wouldn't you just leave the people you are with? That is what will happen anyway.

"The way you got him is the way you will lose him.... because that's how you got him from me."

Everything you do comes back to you threefold. Love is great, but it doesn't justify actions taken at the expense of others. People who are truly in love generally have some image of eventually being in a commited relationship/marriage together at some point in the future. What kind of trust could they build from if this is where they start? Neither can trust the other will be faithful, because they both already know each has chosen to cheat before......

No, an affair is not an option.
The options are as follows:
1) Divorce respective spouses, break their hearts and shatter the lives of their children.
2) Stop being self-absorbed jerks

It depends on the values of that person and I think there are many options/choices to every situation. I think that an affair is not an option but that's my opinion. If you are not happy in your relationship, why would you stay? Leave that relationship and then pursue your love.

Is this a trick question or a hypothetical question? Is the affair for the 2 so in love? Then by all means go for it. But then what if that doesn't go so well?
If it's not broken - don't fix it.

No an affair is no option at all. To have affair is unfair to everybody involved. It not only hurts those related to you but any children as well.
