I have a cousin (also a girl) who lives really far away. we've never met in person, but i've been emailing with her for a while, like since february. she tells me what's going on with her life, i tell her what's in mine, i also told her my problems, my friends, guys who like me, and stuff like that. i feel like i can tell her anything, she tells me about her school, friends, guy who likes her, stuff like that.
I feel that she's one of my closest friends. are we best friends?

That's what it sounds like to me... Since you have never formally met before, you should try to get together so that you can see each other. If you get together soon, then you can become even closer.
