Unfortunatly the OTC tests are not always reliable...a blood test at your doctors office will clear it up. It sounds like the pregnancy symptoms to me...

I'm 23 years old and I have a 2 year old daughter so I know a lot about wondering if I'm pregnant, how soon will I know etc. Depending on how late you are the test may not be able to detect that hormone yet. I don't care if it's $20 Ept; if the hormone isn't strong enough you will get a negative test. The sickness and fatigue generally develop w/in the first trimester, not the first week but like the 2nd month. Spotting is also something that a lot of women do when their pregnant. Dont freak out just yet though, the stress of thinking that you are pregnant will make you late and also make you think that you are having these symptoms when you are not actually.

Well. This could be a series of things wrong. Stop thinking about being pregnant. There are people who will themselves pregnant and have a problem called hesterical pregnancy. Meaning it is all in your head. Are you stressing about something? Have you had a change in diet or eating habits at all? The best way to find out is to seek definitive medical attention from a family doctor or maybe a free clinic for teens. They are confidential. Noone needs know your business. Good Luck Sweety!

Well, it could be a number of things. It is possible that you could be pregnant. That is how I did when I was pregnant. But it could be caused by your nerves, or an infection. You could have an infection and not even know, go get checked. Or if you were taking birthcontril pills and missed one or stopped taking them this would happen too. The best thing to do is get checked by a doctor. There are also STD's that will cause all those symptoms.

My sister just went through this, the first test she took was negative, she waited another week and took another one and it came out positive. She also said she was having little cramps thinking she was going to have her period. When she saw a doctor they told her that is a normal part of pregnancy and it means that your uterus is trying to get ready to expand for the baby to grow. You might want to go see a doctor and get checked. It's safer that way. Then you'll know for sure what to expect.

yep, you could be pregnant, but get tested at the doc's office. Sometimes those home pregnancy tests can fail in accuracy. There is also the possibility you have an std so get tested for those too. Go NOW to the doc in case it is an std. Depending on what it is, if it is an std, you could run the risk of getting sicker and not being able to have kids anyway.

one negative test result doesn't mean you're not pregnant. It could be that your pregnancy hormone is still not strong enough to trigger the positive result on the HPT.
Wait a couple more days, if your period is still not there, take another test.
Otherwise, go to the doctor and get a blood test.

Wait about 3-4 more days and take another test. Stressing over thinking your pregnant can make you feel like your pregnant and also delay your period. So try to relax and your period will most likely come. However it usually takes 2 tests about a week apart to know for sure. Hope this helps you.

Wait about a week between taking prenancy tests and take one 1st thing in the morning. Implantation often causes a little spotting early in pregnancy that is often mistaken for a light period. My 1st result was negative also, but a week later I took one and it was positive. I was hungry all the time and my breasts were tender.
