No.Children do not understand how fragile life is and have no regard for others. A car can be a weapon when used improperly and that is why the number of teenage deaths from driving have increased over the years.

I take it you're a teenager. Although I understand where you're coming from, I have to say that I think the driving age should either stay where it is, or be raised to 17 or 18. I think the best thing would be to leave it where it is, and give harsher penalties for minors who break the law. For example, a DUI for a minor should result in 60 days in jail and having their license revoked for 1 year, for the first offense.

No, infact, I think they should raise it. Not a lot of teens these days pay attention to what they are doing on the road. They are talking on the phone, or listening to music, etc. Most of the car crashes in the past few years have been caused by teens. I was a teen driver, but I feel that if they had raised the limit when I was learning, I would've been more confident behind the wheel. :)

No I think it should be raised to 18, unless there are special circumstances, too many teen at the age 16 still do not have enough sense of responsibility.

No. But i do think there should be stricter regulations on obtaining a drivers licence. There is too many deaths and injurys due to simple carelessness, and kids thinking they know how to control 2 tons of steel.

I actually think they should raise it to 18. Also, if you get one ticket or one accident (your fault) you should then have to wait till you are 21 to get your license back.

Young drivers are why my insurance premiums have to be so high. Never had a ticket never been in an accident my fault.

I believe (but not really) that it should be raised. Think about it; granting a license to operate an extremely dangerous machine to someone that has yet to truely prove themself in Life.
