Think about it. Lets just say all men are primates and lets step back a few million years of evolution (not much has changed) a male is injured on the hunt and he is incapacitated apart from maybe being able to get aroused.
Any mans natural urge is to spread his seed. Those that were successful have continued to spawn future generations that's where we descended from.
So when a man was on his death bed (rock) he still wanted to inseminate to make sure he genes were continued. If he was not capable then maybe we wouldn't be here asking these questions on yahoo answers

Because getting the hell fucked out of u is the most effective not to mention cheapest method of getting better.
Plus sex is the best thing next to chocolate of course, I don't see any down side to this, do u?
