STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!!! If you aren't one of the people who math comes naturally to, there's only one way to do better. Work your butt off. When your teacher assigns homework, don't just do the questions assigned. If you're assigned the first 5 questions in the chapter, do 8 or 9, then don't be afraid to ask your teacher for help if you still don't understand.

i must confess there is no short cut to that except by taking your time to sit down and study it then pray to God that you wanna get more marks in maths and i assure you, it is settled. one more thing, immediately you treat a topic in school, go over it immediately and solve as many questions as you can based on the topic. wish you the best. however if there are some questions you have problem with, go to your friends who know it so they can put you through. you can also form an association of friends with whom you can read together.

Keep doing problems until you understand...sometimes getting a friend and working out problems together helps alot...sometimes students can explain it better to other students than a teacher can.
