I had some similar symptoms. When I got my period it was very light and only for a day. That's unusual for me. I took a preg test and it was negative. The main symptom I had was tender sore breasts. I took a preg test a couple days later and still negative. So about 2 weeks later was finally when i took the preg test again and it was positive. Deep down I just knew that I was pregnant no matter what the tests kept saying--I guess that's what they call maternal instinct. If I would have been smart I would have made an appointment with the doctor to have a blood test taken. Then I would have known right away that I was pregnant and wouldn't have had to go through the stress of taking preg tests that resulted in negative answers. Good luck!

you can always get a false negative pregnancy test, but never a false positive, so your home pregnancy test could be wrong. There are lots of signs, breast tenderness, nausea and vomiting, increased appetite, weight gain obvoiusly, but the most obvious is the missing of your period. You can have a "fake" period that is possibly what you had. If you aren't sure, why don't you go to a doctor? They can do a blood test to measure the serum or urine HCG and you will find out for sure. Good luck, I hope the outcome is what you hoped.

I've had periods like that before...they are the best ones!! A lot of pregnancy symptoms are the same as period symptoms so it can be confusing. Also, when the embryo attaches to your uterus it can cause a slight staining like that. My test came back positive four days BEFORE I was supposed to start my period, so they pick it up pretty early. There are very rarely false negatives on those things. My early signs were sore boobs and nausea.

Okay I've never been pregnant but I have a lot of nieces and nephews so I've been threw a lot with the pregnancy thing. If I was you I would make a doctors appointment to get tests ran and make sure 100% if you are or if you aren't pregnant. The pregnancy test are only 99.9% accurate. But either way I hope things goes well for you and good luck!

Wait a few more days than take and Early Pregnancy Test right after you wake up in the mnorning so your urine is stronger and less diluted. If still negative most likely you are not pregnant and worrying can make you period irregular.

Please let us know if you are pregnant when you pick best answer. If you want to be pregnant good luck...!

It is possible to get a false negative read on a pregnancy test. Do you have swollen and sore breast? That is a common sign for most woman that they are pregannt. I would suggest you take another test. It is also possible to spot or have a light period if pregnant. If you are very concerned , you should go see your doctor.

Once, my period was over twenty days late! Like, there was 52 days between my last period and the one I had in June! So, here are the possibilities or what you can do:

1) Late period.
2) You did the test wrong- do it again!

or...

3) You can always check with a/your doctor, okay? Good luck! :)

Go to the doctor and have a blood test.
Pregnancy tests are very accurate. But could give you false negatives (might happen...)
Bleeding is also a symptom of infection. You can go arround to the fact of visiting a doctor; you may have your reasons. For your own safety, just do the right thing: GO TO THE DOCTOR.

If you are that worried, take another test as sometimes the store bought ones take some time to work correctly or better yet go get tested at a clinic. The clinic tests are much more reliable than store purchased ones.

You period is probably just late or you might skip it this month. It happens. :)

sometimes, we can be a little late and not be pregnant. It is all due to hormones. The older we get, the more changes our body goes through and that includes our menstrual cycle. Still, the possibility is still there. Go to the doc and get a pregnancy test.
