I would imagine that the darkness is caused by the minerals in the water. The filter should take care of it eventually, or they will sink to the bottom. I have heard of people on well water paying a nearby city to come fill their pool with a fire truck. You don't want your well to run dry due to pool filling!

If you have a well that feeds your house it is not a good idea to fill any good sized pool. Here we have well water also and the people that have pools have water trucked in. I think the dirty water is that the well is low and your dredging up dirt form the bottom, which is not good for the well pump..

Girl, you have to put chlorine into the pool, maybe about 5 gallons. Plus a special thing called calcium. Go to a pool store andbring a sample water in a cup and they will have your water check and they can tell you what chemicals you need.

Have a plumber snake the drain, first. that's a tree root or something elementary. The septic tank ought to have been pumped via the supplier. i do no longer understand the place you're yet maximum state wellness departments require that the septic tank be pumped whilst occupancy adjustments, the two whilst renting or figuring out to purchase. Pumping the septic on my condominium property ran $six hundred ten years in the past.

Get a shock, chlorene, and a good filter. First you would add the chlorene and filter the water, then shock it good. Let the filter run for another half day after the shock and the water will clear right up.

don't put chemicals in the water, cause you could contaminate the rest of the water. What u want to do is let ur water run until it runs clear. If it doesn't u need to contact ur water department or city hall.

STUPID PEOPLE STUPID ANSWERS. NO YOUR WELL IS NOT RUNNING DRY.THE SEDIMENT YOU ARE GETTING IS FROM THE "DRAW DOWN" FROM THE PUMP NORMALLY THE PUMP ONLY RUNS A COUPLE MINUTES AT A TIME SO THE WATER IN THE PIPE BARELY CHANGES. THIS IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO. RUN THAT PUMP. IT WILL NOT HURT IT. THE WATER WILL CLEAR UP.IF YOU DONT WANT TO PUT IT IN YOUR POOL, LET IT RUN IN YOUR YARD TILL IT CLEARS UP.

Take a sample and run it to your local pool supply store. Most do free water testing and they can tell you if you can add chemicals to fix it or if you need to drain it and refill from another source. :) Good luck!

Have your water tested. You may have too much iron in your water to use for this purpose. I have the same problem. No pool for us, and it sucks! And for heaven sakes, get a water condioner! You can install them yourself, and they can be purchased for as little as $500.00
