I was really mad!! The Steelers are paying him soo much money that he shouldn't even being riding a motorcylce let alone riding one without a helmet. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and is healthy enough to lead us to another super bowl!!!

Well if you don't win next year it won't be Ben's fault. Statically a team returning and winning is very very low. But back to Ben. What an idiot! That's what they get by giving millions to kids. I think there should be fines, penalties, and suspensions for things players do in the off season to jeopardize their health and safety after the owner has put up major $$$.

I'm not a Steelers fan, but can relate.

I was upset but he is human humans make mistakes. Plus it irratates me that everyone was worried about the season the team defending the title no one and I mean no one but me was worried about him the person his well bieng only the damn team.
A true steelers fan like me was worried about his personal health before the sport of football.
Football will go on with or with out big ben but what if had gotten hurt worse or even worse what if he had died then what would all you people say. "OH THERE GOES THE SEASON" you people make me sick he is a person before a football player

I was furious. Ben is one of the most known QBs in the USA and was stupid enough to ride a motercycle alone. But without a helmet he is insane. He should have listened to Terry Bradshaw.

I know you said this is only for Steeler fans which I am not but I understand your frustration. This guy could have been killed for not wearing a helmet. He led his team to a super bowl victory and almost killed himself for not wearing soemthing as simple as a helmet which he wears on the field.

Ben is a man, If he wants to ride without a helmet then he is the one who has to pay for it, No man wants to live by rules

he is so stupid!! why would he be risking his life on a motercycle without a helmet when he just lead his team to the superbowl and is being paid so much money. Ben is just stupid, but I hope he will be able to play next year.

I wasn't mad, just couldn't believe he would do something so stupid. I love Big Ben and what he has accomplished in just two years of playing pro, that says it all. Just the next time, please, please put on a helmet. We need you to much. We will have to wait and see if this affects his play.

Take it easy there Sparky, everyone makes mistakes. He came really close to ending his career, lets just hope he learned his lesson.
