France is now in balance. Zidane has had his first goal ..difficult to stop him.. one more yellow card will put him in trouble. geting better .. france can win

They had slow start in the group stage..everyone thought they were gonna had a dismal performance like the previous world cup which they managed to score none..but they managed to upset the spanish team to advance to the quarterfinals..but they are going to face a heavy task when they are destined to take on the world champion brazil in the last 8..
some say the french team are "too old" because most of their players are over 30..but in football u never know..they might upset the brazilian and surprise everybody if they managed to play in their best form..they are not the strong favourite to win this world cup as the favourites are mostly brazil, argentina and germany..

Not likely...they have to overcome Brazil. Which they can, but they have been struggling and have a lot of older players who in the second half seem to get tired. They are going to have to be aggresive and dominate the mid field to win Brazil. If they do I think they have a good chance of making it. Not to mention silly fauls that are causing them to have yellow card. Lets hope the refs are impartial...you know they can pick a side and call crazy fouls on a team.

1998 france received 2006 france misplaced however for zizouo each have been well, in 1998 he took the cup, however in 2006 he took the golden ball. incidentally i love Italy till they cheated their technique to the highest.

They are simply boring. There is no flare. They did noit do anything in the group stages. Against Spain they played their known for French football. Acccepting the game on defense and looking for holes. Against a team like Spain (young and inexperienced, otherwise talented) this tactic worked, but I dont know if it will get them any further.

i think france played very well as everybody was expecting spain to be victorious
so far france did really well and proved their critics wrong but against mighty brazilians they can do nothing else they pay something to referee brazil will destroy france by 4-0

France is very lucky that it upsets the strong team Spain. It might have luck in Brazil and they might win.

I think they better get over Brazil...but if they come out with great intensity and trap the ball in the Brazillian zone and attack the ball they might have a chance tomorrow.

i am in total shock that they beat Spain. I thought Spain would beat them cause France were barely scoring. Maybe it was luck, maybe...
