Dane Cook is very funny...very animated. I always enjoyed Dana Carvey as well. His impersonations were always really good. Sinbad and Bill Cosby were both funny and generally clean. You didn't feel like you needed to clean out your ears from all of the dirty language after you listened to them. A guy who is relatively unknown but is still pretty good...The Amazing Jonathan. He's a magician/comedian. Gallagher was funny when he wasn't smashing things with the "Sledge-o-Matic." I don't know if I can say that I have a "favorite" though. Carlos Mencia has recently caught my attention.

Lewis Black, I recently saw this man on HBO,I thought he was very funny, a lot of people would probably disagree, his jokes seem to center around politics and religion.
Eddie Murphy could make me laugh without him even opening up his mouth, but then I saw him on stage, and so many of his words were bleeped out, that the jokes were not funny.

I LOVE Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and this comedian named Mitch Hedberg who, unfortunately, died last year (?) from a drug overdose. SO funny!
