I am told it is also called the dirty book of the bible, from the book of Ruth. I also know it was from Boxwood Press in 1083. We are trying to find out the value or if there is a market to purchase this item.

I love old books. Try abebooks on line to search for your specific book. They are sort of a clearing house for many rare book collectors. I just quickly entered the information from your questions and came up with over 2000 possibilities. Some were of course contemporary but others were more unique. Good luck on your quest.

If you own this book, I'd go to an appraiser, or antique book dealer. Something like that would be worth 150,000+ in good condition, more if its something people collect.

try this out if you own the book

if you are looking to own the book, you'd need to find specialty dealers who sell that stuff. There are probably not a lot of 1083 books left.

imo
