emo stands for emotional.... they used to classify as them selves as emotional with their sensitive side but it went main stream and now its wear black and tight pants and listen to "emo and scremo" music

well, it is supposed to be an "emotional boy" which is in turn a boy (generally a teen) who listens to music like Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, and Hawthorne Heights. They usually wear very tight pants, old band t-shirts, and converse. They are also known to wear black eyeliner on occassion and converse sneakers.

uhm.. emo is a steriotype.. over emotional people. I think its stupid to steriotype people like this though. Most people tend to think emos are all cutters but that is not the case at all. Just because you don't like life does not mean you are going to cut yourself. And there are plenty of people who cut themselves that seem like normal happy people on the outside.

emo, as a musical genre, stands for emotional hardcore. and emo boy usually means a very sensitive, crys easy, cuts himself, listens to that genre and writes poetry about girls that brope up with him (gee i wonder why any girl would do that:P).

emo is someone into emotional music- said my friend... so mi boy is a young male into emotional music and by emotional music i think its music that has a topic about how much the world sucks and life and death but actually good charlotte, simple plan, fall out boy might be in that category..... dunno for sure
