Don't worry - I didn't get mine until I was 14 and I've known girls who didn't get it until they were 16. Each person's body is different and there is no reason to freak out. Besides, I guarentee once you get it, you'll wish you never had.

You should relax and stop worrying about it. My sister was 15 before she got hers. When did your Mom get hers? Everybody is different. Some girls start at 8 and other start at 18. If your mother isn't worried, you shouldn't be. I know that this isn't what you want to hear, but nature does things in its own time and there is nothing we can do to change that.

You may be one of those who start at age 15 or 16. Also, stress can mess with your hormones. All this worrying about it could even delay it coming. Just relax and let nature take its course. It will happen when you least expect it (and possibly at the worst possible time). Enjoy the fact that you don't have to worry about it yet. You get to go swimming and wear white pants when your friends can't. You can even rub it in a little if you want.

It's fine. Girls these days are getting their period early, and maturing faster than needed. Some of my friends are 13, and they don't have their period yet. I know another girl who got hers when she was 14, and another when she was 16. So don't worry... It'll come with the "time is right". ;]

My mom was 16 when she got her first period. It's ok, it's normal, unless you're concerned, then I'd tell my mom and see a doctor, but other than that some people are just late bloomers and that might be you.

if you're really really worried, go see a doctor. but: don't worry, it'll come & there'll be time when you wish it hadn't been there for another year or so... don't let anybody make fun of you b/c of the fact that you don't have your period yet.
if you and your mom or older sisters? have a good relationship, maybe you might want to ask them when they had theirs.

There are several reasons that you may not have yours as of yet. One is that you are athletic and your body fat is not high enough. Another is simply genetics. Some girls don't get theirs until they are older because their mother didn't. Don't worry you still have time.

dont worry. every girl gets it and different ages. some even get it at 16 but be thankful cuz it's not something women like to have. and dont forget u have to deal w/ it plus the cramps, headaches once every month for a long, long, long time.
