I don't see why people are saying they can't be compared because of being different types of music. While Led Zeppelin encompasses more elements than just metal, they are both heavy metal from generally the same era.

I'd have to go with Sabbath. Led Zeppelin has too much inconsistency...though they do have SOME great songs.

Different kinds of music, but, I prefer Black Sabbath. Dark and melancholy and introspective.
And awesome bass playing on the part of Geezer Butler.

Aghhh. I cant answer that man. I love them both. Though certain songs by each of them are better then the other ,i cant decide which band is better.
