it was about like dorothy going back to OZ years later.. they played it on various channels and it puzzels me that i cant figure out the name of the movie.

It was Return to Oz. I remember seeing that movie in the theater and it freaked me out. Fairuza Balk (the Craft, The Waterboy) was Dorothy in that movie. It's still a little creepy to me...I think it might be because of Jack Pumpkinhead

Dorothy, back in Kansas, can't stop thinking about Oz, and even believes that her friends have sent her a key.
