Have worked with silver for years, but want to try sandcasting. Am looking for pointers on materials and techniques. Simple, low-tech style. Any informaion appreciated!

I have never used this method but here's some very detailed instructions and photos. Let me know how this technique works!

Search for Art Metal on the web, that is were the artisans were. Also search the web, many sites on casting...usually deal with aluminum the pricipals are the same. Another search is for Lost wax casting...which will give you the detail you will want.

Melt silver and pore in sand mold, remove after cooled.
