Yes. Go to yahoo Messsenger. Click send a text message from the menu.
You have to enter the mobile number of the person you are going to text. And enter the text message.

i dont know ...but i think you can yahoo messagner for free....but text from computer 2 cell phone they might charge the person who is receiving the message as a text but they wouldn' t charge you
