Hi, it's difficult to say which bars are the best, cause they've got loads of all kinds. Some of the popular places are "30/7" or "Petrovskii' Bul'var 30/7" in Petrovskaja Street, it's a popular spot for good music, good drinks and good crowd. in summer time there are many open air parties at Moscow River, just stroll along and with a bit of luck you'll find one. Cafe "Veranda" at metro "Park kul'tury" is known for good food. If you are into good beer, you can go to "Kolbasoff" at Krasnopresnenskaja, or "Tenkoff" at Smolenskaja Street. All those are very popular but may appear a bit pricey for the Russian standards. If you are looking for something cheap, just go along the street, and go to any bar that appeals to you, you can make some very nice experiences. Also, if you go to e.g. "30/7" or any other place, you can meet some people there, who will tell you about other popular places. Have good fun! :-)))
