I live in the state of Florida. I don't know why, but it seems that criminals have more rights than the average person in a court. Namely, there are laws about guns. If a robber enters your home at night, and you spot him/her, you cannot use a gun as force against him/her unless the criminal has a gun exposed in plain sight; because only one person having a gun makes it "unfair". Also, many people have heard of the case where a robber entered a home and accidentally locked himself in the garage of the home. The family had gone on vacation, so he was "forced" to eat dog food in order to stay alive. When the family returned, they found him, and he sued them for "making" him stay there for so long. He won his case I believe I remember hearing. Alright people, I don't understand why these criminals have such rights, but they do. If anyone out there can give me a logical explanation, I would appreciate it much.

That answer can be discussed for ages upon ages.. First of all the justice system is flaky meaning there are loopholes and ways to play the "system" such as the person can sue if he gets hurt in your house while robbing it..
We have liberals who shout about equal rights and cruel and unusual punishment and unfortunately they are about the only ones who are actually speaking their voices.
Like I said this conversation can be discussed until the end of time. The system is not perfect, it is definately flawed, nor will it ever be perfect..

"If I screwed up a yr in the past and bought a visitors price tag, that also manner I'm a crook, proper?" If you screwed up, you are no longer a crook in any respect. You're no longer a crook till you dedicate against the law and get convicted of it. Your getting a visitors price tag does not make you extra crook or "maintain" your crook list. However, within the feel that a crook is a character who has a list of a minimum of one crook conviction - you'll continually be a crook, visitors price tag or no longer. "If I screwed up six years in the past in some way that are supposed to have ended in a misdemeanor cost, however the police officer made up our minds to not cost me, that also manner I'm a crook, proper?" Wrong. If you weren't charged, you then could not be convicted - and most effective the convicted are criminals. "to the hardline cops in the market, I'm nonetheless simply as a lot a crook now as I was once one yr in the past, or six years in the past, proper?" That query is high-quality directed to the officials. It might additionally rely at the specifics of what they suspected you of....that you conspicuously left from your query.

Actually, in Florida you now CAN shoot an intruder. The castle law was reinstated last year thanks in part to Mitch Needelman, one of our best state representatives.

As for the rest of it, you're correct and it is an excellent question. Contact your local representatives and Mitch as well... see what you can get done about it. Don't discount the effects of contacting the government; the state reps tend to be very "grass roots" and interested in what their constituents have to say.

The law is set up to protect all. And if you were wrongfully accused of something you would want all the laws in your favor or you would be crazy. Just keep it simple

The law is set up this way because one Innocent person going to jail for life is one to many

Thanks to none other than our elected officials. If you ever expect this to change, you simply have to vote and study before you do so.

I personally feel much of this stems from liberal views held by many members of our society. If some of them were exposed to the judicial systems as victims their attitude might change.
