Rather odd question. I don't know if you could look at yourself or not. Maybe so if you didn't break the optic nerve. I have known of fights were one's eye popped out and it was popped back in. But thank heavens I didn't see it.

There are battle stories of this kind of thing happen to soliders in the field. But keep in mind it's easy to damage any part of the eye, scatch is not burst the sack, musle tissue, nevers, lense , etc... So it's not recommended.
Plus even though some of the solider could see themselve they noted that a doc. had to put the eye ball back in and they didn't now if there was any minor damage done. For example maybe they can still see but had to wear eye glasses after that or suffered a mild lazy eye.

Since you see about 1/8 of your eyeball the chances of removing your eye without rupturing the eye is impossible. Your "eye socket" along with your eyebrow bone maintain the proper pressure for retaining the shape that is needed to reflect images properly onto the retina. AKA if you take it out you will go blind.

I've extracted goat and cow eyeballs (already dead) you would have to have a very sharp spoon (I'll try that next time), and you have to sever the optic nerve to get it out, so no, it wouldn't work. Don't forget about the lens in there, it is not water.

your eyeball is made up of tissue and tiny muscles. clinically possible, yes... but the eyeball being extracted from the eye cavity may cause permanent motor, nerve or vision damage.
if you want to see yourself, you might try a mirror first.

i don't think that is possible because once u take it out it is no longer connected to any part of your body so u would not be able to look at yourself nor pop it back in and be able to see with it.

I've often wondered the same thing. But not about popping it out myself.
