It's sad that your native american friend would have this kind of belief. It's not something that the various forms of native american spirituality would teach. In reality native spirituality is amazingly similar to Christianity and Judaism, it's not exactly the same but there are similarities. The theory is that when we die we go on to some other form of existence, like heaven or the spirit-world.

By the way we are not all alcoholics.

There is no way to tell if this is true or not really. My best suggestion is to simply accept that this is his belief and if you have a different one, just roll with it. When it comes to religion, I feel you should simply believe whatever gives you the most comfort in your time of need. We'll never know who is right until we ourselves die.

No that's not true, no one is lost forever you need to know God however some people don't believe there is a God I do so there is a Heaven and a Hell so if you haven't read a bible, I suggest u do, not only is it enlightening but it is food for the soul.

Actually it depends, because she could be raised up in different a different belief. If u believe in something else it could be true. Some believe that we recarnate, some believe we go to hell and some believe that we go to heaven. It really depends on what your taught.

Well i dont know but is have to do with your beliefs you dont have to believe wht he believes..... go with you think or your own ideas in this matter.i personally do not believe that way... i believe in life after death and i believe that we have a soul inside our bodies and that is going somewhere after we die... now if you ask me how did i wish things would be,i wish that everytime we die we get another life to live and then another and then another.because life is beutiful.but that is just what i wish, what i believe is that when we die our soul have a destination and that is life after death.

No, it's not true. But he lost his brain forever is true. Once we all die the truth will be there. Just wait or go for it if you want to.

It totally depends on your belief system. No one knows the true answer, and if they do, they can't tell us (the living)
