The "sag" jean look actually started in prison because you were not allowed to wear a belt with your pants because that would be a suicide risk.

That is a damn fine question... by doing this(sagging) it causes an even greater problem. it exposes your underwear right ............so now what do we call them ......hummm....?
I mean after all that is why they are called underwear right?
