8ft4 LEONID STADNIK.
He is yet to be confirmed by Guinness, but he has been featured in a wide range of media. He is from a small village in Ukraine and has some form of tall-sickness. He doesn't want to cash in on his height like some of his fellow villagers suggest. He says he wants to stay at home and help his mom and sister out (who
barely come up to his waist). He is about 8ft4 and is still growing, which means he will probably beat out Robert Padlow as the tallest man to ever live at 8ft11.

I read this in a Magazine.

PODOLYANTSI, Ukraine (Reuters) - All Leonid Stadnyk [Stadnik]
wants is a simple, quiet and inconspicuous life. But the 33-year old
Ukrainian is just too tall for that.

At a height of eight feet four inches, Stadnyk may be the world's tallest
man and he keeps on growing.

Measurements by the Ukrainian branch of the Guinness Book of World
Records show he is already taller than Tunisia's Radhouane Charbib, who
is listed by the book as the tallest living man.
