Breastfed babies may have many bowel movements every day, one or two large ones per day, or one huge one every few days to 2 weeks (or occasionally longer). All of these are normal; the less frequent the bowel movements, the larger they will be.
I had kids who had 6 or more bowel movements a day while fully breastfed, and one who had one once a week (and one time, it took her 2 1/2 weeks). They all were normal...

It is probably normal for her. You had 2 different kids so what each one of them did, isn't going to be the same. As long as she is drinking and eating enough and doesn't have a fever, then it should be fine. I have 4 kids and each one of them went or goes different times per day. My first, 1-2 times, 2nd, every time she ate something, 3rd, first thing in the morning and usually after dinner and 4th, first thing in the morning and after his nap in the afternoon. If she is running a fever and isn't drinking or eating enough, then especially with a fever, she could be dehydrated or have a stomach bug. But, if she has always done that, then don't worry. If you feel that this is different for HER, then call the pediatricians office and talk to them.

Is the poo solid or the runs? If it's the runs, it could be that your daughter is cutting teeth. I had this problem, for 11 days straight, when my daughter was teething. It's not fun; however, I was told to "just keep feeding her". Also, bananas and apples help. Or if you're little one likes mac and cheese baby dinners. Cheese helps to slow down the digestive tract.
I would, just to be sure, call your pediatrician though.

That does not sound normal to me. I'm a mom and have a day care in my home. Of all the kids I have kept, the most that any child has pooped in one day is 2 maaayyybe 3 times. Check in with your doctor if it really concerns you, it would concern me, not overly but I would still want to make sure everything was ok.

Ha, funny nipopazleh...
My first thought is that you are breastfeeding your daughter and didn't your son, as breast babies will have more dirty diapers. In that case, 5 times daily would be more acceptable.
If this is a regular thing for her and the stools aren't really watery or loose, I wouldn't worry. You might just mention it to your care provider to see if they have suggestions or concerns.
Good luck, and take comfort in knowing that you are keeping those diaper companies in business...

Is this something that just started? When my son was cutting certain teeth he would get ear infections, diarreah, and diaper rash. Keep giving her fluids and call her doctor.
