ok, again....I guess I'm not being very clear. I'm not asking "can I add people that I don't know or just MY friends" I'm asking "YOU"...do "YOU" add people you don't know or just "YOUR" friends. *sheesh*

People I know and bands/organizations that I like (not a lot though--just favorites so I can get information). I think it's stupid when people whore it up on Myspace. Who cares if you have 532,971 "friends" if nobody likes you in real life? :-)

I read their profile, see if I am interested enouch to engage in a relationship or not. If they have not taken the time to set up a profile - they are history. You have to pay attention to people. I don't have time to respond to everybody so I'm not trying to add a bunch of people just for the sake of having a 100 friends. (I know someone who has 1500 friends.)
