If you want your work to truly sell, get a qualified editor and agent involved. I use WordTechs (www.wordtechs.com).
Good luck!

I was once asked if I would like to buy a set of poetry booklets by a boy on a college campus. I think he had just make a bunch of copies at a Kinko's and had them bound with plastic spiral bindings (you can get a gadget that does that at 'Office Max'). That's not how to get your poetry officially published, but it might be a start.

Write the book and have it printed. Then the hare job starts to sell the book without the publisher's network. You might try selling it on ebay. If you get good feedback start looking for other ways to sell.

Self publication (vanity press) is rarely the best way to sell a book. If the work is truly good then try submitting your work to a respected publisher such as a university press. Self publication will get you little respect in the literary world.

Let me know what you plan on doing, Self Publishing or finding a Publisher to do it for you. My book is almost done and I would like to know how things work out for you.

First, you should get it copyrighted, and then send it to a publisher; I'm not sure of the best way to go about getting it to a publisher though, but I do know that you'll want to send it to more than one publisher, rejection letters are pretty common ;) Good luck!

the simplest way to publish your own poetry in book form is to visit a local small printer, you know like the ones businesses use to produce their manuals etc.
you do the lay out, design and everything all they do is print it and bind it.
then you sell it.
It is very hard to make money out of poetry.

Write a book, find someone to print it at a decent price, copyright it, and sell it at book stores.
