Nintendo announced at E3 that the price will be under 250 dollars ($249.99 probably). So it's pretty cheap compared to most next-gen consoles, and definitely a good deal.

The most recent answer is correct. Nintendo has announced that the price will not exceed $250 U.S.
Whether that means that it will cost $250 exactly or be less expensive is still unknown.
