If not why not - perhaps a prequel where we learn how Gizmo ended up in the shop.
Also why can't you buy a Mogwai or at least a 'Sony Dog' style mechanical toy ?

That would be really cool if they made another Gremlins but there is no plans to make one. Gremlins 2 didn't due to well at the box office, even though many felt it was better than the original. Director Joe Dante felt that the low ticket sales was due to too much time having gone by between the 2 movies. Gremlins came out in 1984 and Gremlins 2 in 1990.

that would be cool but not sure it would be credible, my six year old lad loves the films so they still have that ageless quality but where would the story go? they do a great singing dancing gizmo in argos which is probably the closest you can get to owning a mogwai.

The last one was not a big hit but the films remain popular and you can still buy the toys so I'll say YES to this.
