I don't think her antics have anything to do with greiving the loss of her son. I think she enjoys her "15 minutes" which unfortunately has gone on way to long. I think that she will try anything to get attention and frankly, it's just sad.
I too lost a son, not in Iraq- but I know loss- will greive him forever. I don't blame anyone and I do everything in my power to honor his memory.
I can't understand how a mother can dishonor her child like this just to push her radical agenda.

What Cindy Sheehan, the libs and the media FAIL to tell people is that her son was on his SECOND tour in Iraq. A second tour that he VOLUNTEERED for.
Apparently, despite Cindy Sheehan, her son turned out to be a fine individual. It is too bad that she disgraces her son and his memory on a daily basis.

At first Cindy Sheehan was understandably a distraught mother doing what she as a mother was driven to do.., but after a while she began to be about Cindy Sheehan, a self glorifying hero enjoying the attention and what passes for some level of fame.
I am not saying she didn't love her son - I am saying and some point it quit being about her son and more for her. The attention and glorifying by her supporters gives an ego of massive proportions. Now, she ignorantly dishonors her son's death and when she one day realizes this - she's going to have a major nervous breakdown.

I don't agree with some of her tatics but I don't think it hurts Mr. Bush to have a coke with those families who've lost loved ones in Iraq. I find the protesting at soliders funerals in very poor taste. I'd like to see her get some closure in regards to her son and the Administation to show some compassion not only to her but to others who are mourning deaths. I don't follow her that closely anymore her message has been hijacked by extremism. She's not as annoying as she is pitifull with her continuing on past the point of good judgement. It seems the only time the Adminstration engages the military is when ratings drop or it's tim e to make a "stay the course" speech. This Administration seems callouse toward the losses in Iraq and hell bent on making sure we stay over there. Anytime the subject comes up we're reminded how this wasn't a mistake which would be fine if they could offer less ambigious answers regarding this war on terror, how it's framed and Iraqs role in it for the future.

She had her 15 minutes, the libs tried putting her on the shelf for later and media tired of her antics. But I guess she wouldn't go quietly into the night. The dems must be pissed because they were relying on her staying quiet until closer to elections. She won't have the same impact on elections because people will (still) be tired of hearing her name.
And to all the flaming libs who will jump all over this: I am not heartless and I do feel her pain, however, her son chose to join up and was an adult aware of the risks that entailed. Unfortunately she allowed herself to be used for political reasons and to many it appears as if she is belittling the sacrifice her son made in the name of politics.

Cindy Sheehan's son rolls over in his grave at least twice a day.
This is just an example of a life controlling mother whose son defied her and joined up.
Does anyone ever see the rest of her kids with her. Heck her husband divorced her cause she's crazy. Even the Dem's are moving away from her.

She is not an annoyance at all. All Cindy Sheehan is doing is getting our troops out of this messy, long-running Iraqi quagmire that's another product of Bush's screwed-up and failed policies. Bush is a disgrace to the Presidency that he stole in 2000! And he disrespected the office that he was supposed to bring honor and dignity to. I would support her motives, no matter how insane things get!

I actually feel sorry for her. She has built herself this huge wall of indignation and has made a spectacle of herself doing it. And in 2 years when GW leaves office, what will she have?
Her son was a man and made his own decisions. Our country is proud of what he did no matter how tragic. She took it on herself to blame Bush and that reason will be gone soon. When he is gone she will lose her appeal and be dropped by the groups using her. Rather tragic in my oppinion, she has driven away her family and friends and soon will probably have nothing.

I don't necessarily agree with her. Then again I've never lost a child, so I personally can't say I feel her pain or know how I would react.
Bottom line: It's her right to voice her opinion & demonstrate in a peaceful & legal manner. As long as she falls within the legal confines of the law, it doesn't matter if any of us agree or disagree with her personal crusade.

Yeah, how annoying, grieving her dead son. What a disgrace. All these people who wish their sons were still alive should just go away.
We're just as tired of you folks blaming grieving widows & mothers for grieving. Why don't you & Ann Coulter just go away & leave the rest of us alone.

She could stand to lose a few pounds but I don't think she is annoying. If anything she is a model citizen for standing up to a Fascist Pig President.
