If I put normal household bleach on my arms will it make the hair lighter? I'm 13 years old and I have lots of hair on my arms and it's quite dark and the boys at school make fun of me and call me monkey girl because of it. I know I should use proper stuff for it, but I went to the chemist and it's really expensive and I can't afford it and I don't want to tell my mum what I need money for.
And I've got some quite dark hair on my face as well but I don't know how to get rid of it. What can I do?

Don't use household bleach, it will irritate your skin. I'm sure if you explain to your mum that the boys are making fun of you she'll want to help in any way she can, and I'm sure she'd be willing to give you the money to buy some proper body hair bleach. Just speak to her, but don't put normal bleach on your skin!

If you put it on your skin you will definitely burn yourself, than they will really be laughing at you. Here is a suggestion by some Nair and put it on your skin and wax it off. That is better than using bleach and that is way more safer to. Also Nair does not cost that much either, also if you get allowance than you can use that to pay for it. You can get it at any drug store and or retail store like Walmart, Target etc.. Good Luck!

bleaching ya hair that way may result in burns , y dont u use a razor and shave them off be a lot cheaper me thinks and tell the boys ya dad is king kong and ya gana get him in 2 sort them ,lol, gd luk xx

eeeeeee be careful!!!! bleach isn't supposed to go on your skin girly! look i had the same prob! i shaved it off. good luck!
