Does anyone else think it is ironic that the actress who sat in Star Jones' chair today plays an attorney and is African-American?

I thought it was hilarious when Barbara and Joy told the stand in to say "I am a lawyer!"

Does anyone give a rats a*s*s about Star Jones anyway!?? Not likely.. she made her bed.. she has to lie in it... and as far as whomever The View gets to replace her, if they even bother (she was so damn annoying on the show anyway)... it doesn't matter much whether she's black. white.. yellow.. or freakin' hot pink... she'll be a hell of a lot better at the job than Jones ever was. Hopefully, she won't milk the public and anyone else for anything when she gets married or has a party... that was one of the most disgusting exercises in grovelling I've ever seen.. especially by somebody who can more than afford to pay for her own wedding!

I had the unpleasant experience of seeing Star Jones coming out to the Ivy in LA in 2005. It was so strange, she had her hanger-ons and she did the kiss kiss then the wave to the crowd. People weren't really admiring her they we're just watching her show off. That's LA. What a farse. She got to big for her britches, shes no Oprah. Besides TV journalist shouldn't become celebrities. They are a bunch of hams. As for the African American thing, its all plan. Lisa Ling was on that show but she was Asian.. she wasn't "minority" enough. lol.

What makes it even more ironic is that Renee's character on One Life to Live (Evangeline Williamson, aka "St. Cookie") is the same kind of self-righteous type as Starzilla is.

no,. but I am glad that she is gone, I stopped watching that show when she got engaged and then married, she was so annoying and things she is so much better than everyone else, and we all know she lost the weight because he husband told her to or he wouldn't marry her. that's the only way she could get a man. glad she is gone.
