Can someone explain to me how to resize a photo that I've scanned off my printer? What's the difference between "diminsion" and "size"? What about pixels...how does that figure in the size of a photo? I have HP Image Zone, but I do not understand the resizing instructions. I also have "Paint," and I'm just as confused. I also have "Infraview," which is a little more user friendly. Any ideas? Thanks

The easiest way to resize a photo is in pixels. For a horizontal picture you want 600 width x 450 length (when you change one the other will automatically change). For a vertical picture it's the opposite - 450 width & 600 length. If you need a program, try downloading FastStone Image Viewer from www.download.com - it's free & very easy to use, and doesn't junk up your computer.

You can do so by a lot of softwares. Many are available on net. You can try Download.com and i am sure you will find one according to your need. You can try this in Microsoft paint too.
1. Right click on the picture you want to resize.
2. Select "Open with" and then "paint"
3. When picture opens in notepad, click nowhere but drag the outer boundry to resize the photo.
4. Save the picture.
Its that simple.........
