Checking cervical mucus (CM) is a good advice. When I am not sexually active, I could see how my CM becomes stretchy like egg-white when close to ovulation. However I can't detect any change in my CM when I become sexually active. Does that happen to anyone of you too?

Ovulation predictors only help so much. Most can only predict when ovulation is about a day or 2 away or if it has already happened.....Did you know that the egg only lives for about 6-8 hours? but the sperm can live for up to 5 days inside? Therefore, you must actually be able to time intercourse BEFORE you ovulate, but not too much before.
This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Fertile Focus Microscope. I got pregnant the month I used it, that and Pre-seed lubricant, it won't kill sperm. Good luck!!

It is very easy to use and very effective, all you need to do it put a drop of saliva in the microscope, look through it and it is has a fern pattern you are ovulating, if you don't see anything you are not. When ovulation occurs, high levels of estrogen are present in your saliva which makes the saliva cristalize and that's what you see in the microscope.

The best way to check if you are ovulating is by checking your cervical mucus. When it is stretchy like egg-whites then you are about to ovulate!

I too am trying to conceive, a friend of mine told me that he and his wife used "ovulationscope" and they got pregnant the first month. I have had mine for 3 mos and have not conceived yet but we're still trying. I have heard of several couples that used the "ovulationscope" brand and did become pregnant. We bought ours at Walmart for roughly $20 (probably a little less, I can't remember for sure now) Hope this helps.

Yes, they are easy to use, once you learn how to use them correctly. There is a small learning curve..but once you get the hang of it...they are great.

The only people I've found they don't work for are people with PCOS, kidney problems or who are breast feeding.

All brands are pretty much the same. It's really just a small microscope

Yes. Use early repsone or EPT. One of them uses a smiley face or sometype of picture that tells u when u have a surge of a certain hormone. Telling you the 2 best days to conceive.
