I've also tryed DivX and there is no sound at all. I need some help.

Your computer is underpowered. Audio requires a lot less proccessing power than video, so the audio is getting ahead.

Try reducing the amount of proccess running. Using WINDOWS CONTROL ALT DELETE and use TASK MANAGER proccess to close down programs you DON'T need.

If you don't know what a proccess does YAHOO the proccess name, and you will get a response such as:

Process Name: Session Manager Subsystem

Run a Free System Scan for smss.exe Related Errors

Description:
smss.exe is a process which is a part of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. It is called the Session Manager SubSystem and is responsible for handling sessions on your system. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

Don't terminate it!! But other stuff you can!

If this helps you might want to clean your startup.

GO TO RUN: TYPE MSCONFIG

Good luck! Also purchase more ram wouldn't hurt.

escape's answer is highly probable. You can try VLC player and see if you get better results. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
