I have read Lasher. It comparitive to The Witching Hour it wasn't as good in my opinion, still a good book none the less. Make sure you get Taltos as well. There is so much detail in that series that there is an actual encyclopedia of all the characters called "The Witches Companion". Lasher also comes up in some of the newer vampire chronicles. When the witches become involved with the vampires. I recommend them as well.

I read Lasher and I thought it was a great book, but I thought The Witching Hour was better.

Yes I've read it, I preferred the The Witching Hour. I did like it though, I'm a huge fan of Anne Rice.

A little harder to get into than the Witching Hour, but still a decent book.

I loved it, the whole series was really good. Though my fave was The Witching Hour because of the genealogy of the family.

Is that a sequel to "The Witching Hour"? Some of the imagery is good, but I didn't really like it that much.

I read that book several years ago. It's messed up, but then all her stuff is pretty messed up. Be sure and read Taltos too.

Typical Rice novel...a bit scarey, sick and hard to put down.
