Do you mean your IP address? it makes some difference if you have DSL or Dial-up, but you can visit this site to find out what your computers IP address is: http://myipresolve.com/
If you use Dial-up, that number changes every time you connect though.

There are two types of addresses. The first is the MAC address, which is built in to your NIC card. The second is the IP address. If you have a NIC card, you also have an IP address. From a command prompt this can be checked by typing "ipconfig /all". IP addresses can be assigned (typically by a DHCP server, which leases you an address) or manually created.
Go to start/control panel/network connections. Right click your local area connectin and go to properties. Double-click the TCP/IP settings. Here you can have the IP address determined automatically (through DHCP) or you can manually enter an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, etc.

What address? Do you mean IP (Internet Protocol) Address? To get an IP address you have to signup with an ISP and pay for the service you will get and address.. I hope this will help.
