I can get to the point where I select a table, and when I do, a new window opens up but instead of the table appearing, it looks like it keeps trying to load but never does. Eventually I get a small dialogue box that says I need to enable pop-ups--which I have already done. I'm running IE7

Turn off your norton anti virus, if you have that. This should solve your problem.

disable all pop up blocker u got on system not just the one from Yahoo .
( u need 2 uncheck pop up blocker NOT enable it call Disable )
