It would be a nice thing to do...if you think she is feeling the same regret as you, give her one red rose for every year, or 7 red roses and one white rose to mark the uncelebrated year of marriage. Enclose one of those little florist cards with something romantic like "Eight roses for what would have been 8 years of marriage: for all the reasons why the 8th anniversary rose isn't red, I am truly sorry for (or I truly regret). For the other 7 roses, I never knew how beautiful they were until now"....something poetic like that. She'll melt! (I would!)

If you want to get her something, get it for her but don't spend a lot. Keep it simple. There's a reason for a divorce and usually its enough to keep a couple apart unless they have a REALLY strong connection. My 2nd anniversary will be July 10th. I'm currently going through a divorce. I don't expect to get anything from my husband. He's out hanging with another woman right now. Good luck!

If you still love her and she has feeling for you than go ahead and buy a gift. I would make sure the feelings are still there though; you don't want to go out of your way to buy her a gift, and then have her turn around and tell you that nothing will ever happen again. No one likes to be rejected or hurt. As far as a gift; something small, but with sentimental value.

Hahaha.......... Your still single, arent you ? You have never been able to put your life back together and move on after the divorce, have you ? Wake up and leave fantasy land behind, your not going to win her back. It's been 18 years since your divorce and evidently she has gotten over you. Find yourself a good women and stop dwelling on the past and what could have been. If you dont wake up and move on now then you will just waste the rest of your life and die a lonely bitter old man. Grab some happiness while you still can

no and just hang out that day like you are now. to get a gift would seem kinda pushy. you might believe you made a mistake but does she? don't ask because that would be pushy, just enjoy you time and see where it goes. trust me on this. I useally give a very smartass answer on questions like these but I feel this is right. I hope you the best :Roland

Just made sure there is still some feelings, and sparks between you two. Just like the other girl said, if there is a strong connections. I agree, keep it simple like a shirt. Pair of earrings, flowers, dinner, or etc. Good Luck !!!

The gift I would give my ex husband probably isn't appropriate so......well the best present I ever got from anyone is "quality time" ....just remember most women would prefer love instead of money and the rest should be easy

Though I'm tempted to say " give her a dildo".. I won't say it. Ask for her hand again... that's the best gift for both of you. Love is not a feeling, its an act of your will.

Yes, maybe something simple that shows you truly know her. If you know her favorite purfume that would be nice. Or take her on a trip.
