80% of jobs are found by networking, with either people you know well or people you don't know well, but are willing to give you some advice. Approx. 6-8% are found on employment websites. He may want to try the temporary agency first, and get a temporary job in his career field. This may also turn into a permanent job, and most of all he could do some networking and make some friends. Monster.com, Yahoo HOTJobs, are a good start to put his resume out there. The only thing is, it's going to have to have a catchy title or phrase for an employer to stop and look at his resume. I wouldn't know. I've been living here for over 2 years now and I still haven't found anything good. In Philly, 'It's not what you know, it's WHO you know'. This town is very corrupt.
