Well, considering how dirty Holland played against them I think the Dutch were more sissy boys than portugal! They were loosing and couldn't do a thing about it so they turned violent!! As far as England is concerned- I don't like to do things like this b/c you never know what the outcome is gonna be BUT........... I hope portugal kicks their *** just to shut up all those people that have nothing better to do than criticize the portuguese players and the team!

There certainly is that possibility. I guess that the referee has prepared well for this match and knows the reputation of the Portuguese player. Let's hope that Portugal keeps the field clean.
Let's hope David Beckham does the same but then in a different way.

The english player know how the portuguese like to dive so they should stand off them a bit(Not wimp out) just not dive in,The refs have been card crazy in this world cup so it will go one way or the other either we dive in and marlon brando's lesson to the portuguese pay of or the lesson were rubbish and they get sent of.
England players are now used to the european game(diving is part of it now) so i don't think england are that stupid! Plus little christiano ronaldo is n't playing(big time diver)!

The Portuguese will beat the English fair and square or shall I say BUTCHER them fair and square, their substitutes are better than most of the English first team. This is not even going to be a contest. Can't wait till Saturday, make my day Portugal hahahaha!

Not a portugal fan I see...Well the drama king is Figo...well one of the red card in sunday's match should have been given as soon as BOULAHROUZ attacked Cristiano Ronaldo..one of the many mistakes the refree made....The other ones...what can you say...maybe a little bit of acting...But I dont think thye portuguese squad will have time to think about drama...since Two key players are on the bench..bigger issues to resolve then..OMG should I drop to ground now..LOL

Have to agree with you!
I am sure that if Portugal show the same lack of discipline as they did against Holland they should get kicked out of the World Cup one way or another.
No Deco- No hit man (Costinha)- a ballet dancer
(called embarrasingly for his great namesake)
Ronaldo, and a has-been in Figo, who should have been banned for the head-butt against Holland, means the end for Portugal.
Even their melodramatic coach "Big Phil" can't save them with his antics and inimidation of officials.

How about we all delvelop a thicker skin and stop whinging the "he said this and he called me that" routine! sledging is always in the game, has been since the game was invented and any team that says they dont do it (or supporter who says there team doesnt do it) are full of $h!t! come on people, how about we all grow up a little bit and get over it! you know an umpire should say when some player (and i dont care if hes Indian, Australian or playing for bloody Malawi {who's captain would then be adopted by Brad and Ang}) runs up to him and says "he called me...." "get over it and get back to the game pal!" it about time some of these players hardened up and stopped the sooking, this isnt primary school, its test bloody cricket and if you cant handle it, then pi$$ off!

haha. england better win. and figo should've been red carded in the game with holland. portugal won fair and square but if figo wouldve been redcarded then the guy that got red carded for elbowing figo would not have...and the game might have had a whole different result. as for c ronaldo...he can cry for his mom all he wants...becks will kick his butt in the quartefinals no doubt about it.

unfortunately it seems to be part of the world game. If they do try which I expect then hopefully tthey will have a strong referee who will card them.

It might mean a fair and even game.

If not then hopefully Joe cole will give some pay back. He seems to have learned how to dive quite well at Chelsea.
