Usually i have sex every other day but not lately. It had been 5 days since i last had intercourse. 1 day after we had sex i was spotting lightly on the toilet and it was light pink, is that normal? I have no pain whatsoever, but im a little worried. how common is it to spot in early preg after sex? I have not been to my first Dr. apt. yet, thats why i ask you all. Has this happened to any of you? if so what was the end result?

Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting". It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

If you know you are pregnant - doctor. If not, I doubt this is a sign you are. Last year for a few months, I would have bleeding right after, or the day after sex. I was worried about possible infections so I went to the gyno and after she ruled out cancer and hpv, she said that the bleeding was probably caused by the penis hitting or rubbing the cervix which can sometimes be swollen. She reccomended changing sexual positions and the duration of sex. I did and the symptoms disappeared.

Sometimes the cervix can get irritated, but with my first pregnancy the only time I spotting was during sex and I miscarried, so it is better to get in to the doctor and get checked out.

IF YOU ARE SPOTTING AFTER SEX AND YOU ARE PREGNANT THEN YOU SHOULD SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. SEX CAN CAUSE THIS IF ITS TO ROUGH OR IF YOU HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES WITH YOUR CERVIX. HAVE IT CHECK OUT SOON. SOMETHING COULD BE GOING WRONG WITH YOUR PREGNANCY. GOOD LUCK
