The reason you are asking, and indeed the reason I am answering, this question is that like so many others we are now victims of Y!A addiction.
The likelihood is that you will now spend so much time on here that your work will suffer, possibly resulting in the loss of your job. Your relationships with loved ones are also in jeopardy as you dont see the as often as you used to and may begin to forget there names. In many cases users find they lose sleep and skip meals. On occasions when you do actually leave the house, be prepared to find yourself begging complete strangers to award you 10 points when you correctly tell them the time.
The ask/answer cycle is highly addictive and self perpetuating, but don't lose hope! Some less compulsive or 'softer' sites have allowed people to spend some time doing other things (a key factor in breaking the cycle) but I must warn you that there is no quick cure, and many addicts return to the site even after weeks of being clean.
