I am assuming you have health insurance. In that case, you want to go to your doctor right away. They will give you a referral to an OB/GYN. Generally, the OB doesn't want to see you until you are 8-10 weeks pregnant. That is the earliest you can hear the heartbeat. Which is pretty cool. In any case, go see your family doctor as soon as possible, always the best idea. Good luck!

as soon as you can get in. Dr.'s want to see you immediately that way they can go ahead and detect any problems that might come up and get your bloodwork done - that way they know if you are depleated of any necessary nutrients and can get you something to make sure the baby is going to be as healthy as poosible. they will also start you on prenatal vitamins and most of the time if you go around 8 weeks they will do a pre-ultrasound to make sure you aren't carrying twins. otherwise you have to wait til at least 5 months before most doctors will do an ultrasound.

It's always good to set up ans appt with your ob/gyn as soon as possible. They will check and feel around to make sure that everything is ok for now, an from there start your normal monthly appointments. It's better to get in asap exspecially if you have had past problems.

as soon as you suspect you are pregnant and/or have missed your next menstrual cycle. and, if an at-home pregnancy test shows a positive result. its never too early to start a healthy baby.
