One "athiest" from a previous question, blatently stated that Jesus is as real as Santa and the Easter Bunny. Sounds to me like he is just following the crowd. Now what is your evidence for discounting there being a God?

Don't tell me about the big bang, cause that doesn't prove anything. Not only do I believe in the Big Bang, but it's also a theory with not much evidence, AND there can still be a God with that theory. Christians just never wanted to admit that science might have got something right. Also, I believe in Microevolution, but not macroevolution. there's no real evidence of macroevolution. If there is, present it to me.

So far, the only evidence given is from Picard. And even after reading that, I can see it has to draw a fine line between macro and micro-evolution. Everyone else is just telling me what THEY think should be logical. That's not evidence, that's your rationalization.

The probability of a god existing fully formed and uncaused is only 1 in 10^13,427,964?

Yes it's true folks - It's been scientifically calculated and verified to over 6 billion decimal places. The probability of an intelligent god just existing fully formed and functional with no cause or origin is so infinitesimally small that it has to be rejected as utterly impossible.

By a spooky coincidence, it's exactly as likely as if a tornado swept through an junkyard and threw together a fully formed Boeing 747, complete with passengers... and 57 different versions of the Holy Bible. You'd have to be completely nuts to believe this could happen!

You feel the wind, you see the results and evidence of the wind, but can you see it or prove it is there? Science and belief in God are separated but they shouldn't be. God created nature, mankind did not. God is a part of everything, man separates him out because of his desire to be like him.
Remember evolution is still considered a theory, too.
When you brush all the hype and b.s. aside, do you really believe that nature and the cosmos did not have a master planner that kickstarted it all?

why does one need evidence against a god when there is no solid evidence for a god? I choose not to believe simply because the idea of a god doesn't make sense to me and never has.

we are all entitled to our beliefs and to percentage those even as perfect like on each occasion someone asks a suitable question as is often the case in this web site. what isn't perfect is to always harass those who do not take care of what we do or do no longer believe and it really is extremely usually what a lot of human beings do not look to comprehend or do exactly not extremely care. yet another aspect is that efficient communication presumes a particular degree of skills like LISTENING. One-way verbal replace formats do no longer meet the criteria of undemanding communication. maximum persons do no longer welcome others "telling them" what to do and a lot less what to believe.

Homeless, AIDS. Cancer, Poverty, Child Abuse, Drug Addiction, I could go on and on. But the evidence that there is a GOD? Newborns, Really good Cuban coffee, A sunny day that you DON't have to work, soft comfy sheets to sleep on, sisters and the show Rescue Me. :)

Provide real, physical, irrefutable proof of a god. You cannot. Faith is a belief. I do not believe.

If your god is all loving, it does not matter if you believe or not to get into your heaven. It makes no sense. Eternity is a long time. Would you not get bored? I know I would.
