That is normal. DUring my last 10 weeks of pregnancy with my last one, I was awake for 3-4 hours every night. I just could not sleep! I read that you should just write it off as practice for when the baby is born! It will not hurt your baby, he/she sleeps when he/she wants to!!

I know that most doctors recommend getting more sleep than usual when you are pregnant. I would consult with your doctor.

Is there a reason that you can't sleep? Are you stressed about something. Maybe you have some issue's that you need to resolve and once you do, you will be able to sleep.

I honestly don't believe the baby will be affected. If anything you're the one that will suffer from being so tired. The baby is sleeping at its own time, not so much when you are.

Not a chance the little one is tucked safely away anf probably sleeps more than you know. It is also very normal not to sleep well that far into pregnancy...I know I didn't. Don't worry 10 more weeks and the little one will be here and you really won't get any sleep. My advice...take naps...lots and lots fo naps!

No reason why i did not sleep right through any of my 2 pregnancy's 1st one due to heart burn and second due to my other child continually waking if you can rest in the day and get help where you can from friends and relatives... if you are not gaining any sleep then i would speak to your Doctor or chemist for advice...

only to you. if its adversely affecting your behavior, i.e. you're not able to do your job or you are feeling stressed from being so tired, then you should probably see your doctor. otherwise, just do the best you can to get as much rest as you can. when I was pregnant with my daughter, I started taking afternoon naps because I couldn't sleep that well at night either.

no, if you can't sleep you'll just be tired, the baby sleeps regardless of what you do. Just make sure that you don't fall and don't drink caffine to stay awake. try drinking a glass of warm milk. it's good for the baby and it's has a relaxing effect.

no just on your body, when we as women get pregnant our bodies act in very mysterious ways, and does thinks we won't normally do if we weren't pregnant. It could very simply be your bodies way of preparing you for those sleepless nights with baby. but in no way will it affect your child your lack of sleep is all on you sweetie sorry LOL

probably not...especially since you've been doing well so far except the sleep problem.

your baby is going to "sleep" inside you whenever he wants, so don't worry about you keeping him up.

also, try sleeping on your left side with a pillow between your legs. or on your back propped up a bit and a pillow under your legs....this helped me:)

take care.
